Hello and welcome to this video on creating a Company/Filer in the E-File Magic system. Once you download and installed the E-File Magic Software simply start by double clicking on the E-File Magic icon on your desktop. This will load the E-File Magic Software. In the navigation menu of the system, go ahead and click on Companies/Filers this will load the Companies/Filers screen. Once the screen is loaded click on new and enter unique Company ID this ID can be any ID that you choose and is utilized to keep this company separate from other companies that you may enter in the software. Enter the company's tax ID, name, address, city, state, and zip code. Enter telephone number, it's important to note that this telephone number will print on the recipient forms that you issued to your recipients so use a number that they can utilize to contact you should they have questions on the information that you are reporting, extension, fax number can be left blank, enter a website address this information will also print on the form, and email address select the filing year that you're reporting for E-File Magic supports filing years 2007 through 2011 and you can also optionally add a company logo. The logo that you add here will be printed on the forms that you submit to the recipients. This can assist you in further personalizing the forms that you issue out of E-File Magic. Go ahead and click on save. This concludes creating a Companies/Filers in the E-File Magic System.
