This video details how to transmit your information to E-File Magic for processing and submission to the IRS.

Hello and welcome to this video which details how to transmit your recipient data to E-File Magic for processing and transmission to the IRS. This video assumes, that you've created a company or filer and you have added recipient data to that company or filer by either utilizing the import Recipients Screen or by manually entering in the Manage Recipients Screen. Additionally, for those recipients that you are transmitting, you must have completed the validation process which checks for basic formatting errors. Once you've completed these steps, you can proceed to transmit to E-File Magic. Click on the transmit to E-File Magic button in the lower left-hand side of the transmit section software. This screen is broken down into four different steps; step one is a reminder to ensure that you validated your recipients - had I not already validated my recipient data, this step would be marked as incomplete and by clicking on this button I could proceed to the validate recipient screen to complete this process. Step two asks you if you wish to utilize the optional print and mail services that the E-File Magic Processing Bureau can provide if you elect yes here, the E-file Magic Processing Bureau will also print mail all of the forms that you submit to recipients that you specified for additional charges. Step three allows you to calculate any amount due, this will take into consideration any optional services such as print and mail services that you have elected. I'm gonna go ahead and click on calculate amount due. This process will submit information to E-File Magic indicating the number of recipients that I intend to process and will return any additional costs, in this case no additional payments are required in order to transmit my data to E-File Magic. I can see that I have 101 recipients that are pending transmission at this point I'm gonna go ahead and transmit my recipients for processing by E-File Magic. I may go ahead and confirm this which indicates that once I've completed transmitting the information that in order to make adjustments the recipients I will need to mark those as corrected. So I'm going to go ahead and click on yes. This process will encrypt all of the recipient data before it's transmitted to E-File Magic and then it will send it to E-File Magic Processing Server over secure encrypted link. In this case the E-File Magic Processing Server has responded and indicated that it accepted the order for processing and my order number is 30114. You will want to write that order number down. Go ahead and click on okay. This concludes the transmit recipients to E-File Magic for Processing Video.
