E-File Magic Bulk TIN Matching Service:

Our Integrated Bulk TIN Matching service provides you with an easy avenue to quickly submit your recipients/payees for TIN Matching with the IRS. With the click of a button you can transmit your recipient information to E-File Magic for processing with the IRS's TIN Matching system.

As always our objective is to make things as simple as possible. This is why we opted to integrate our TIN Matching service into our 1099 Software Application.  Instead of manually formatting a file and submitting via Secure FTP, or a web form, you can Import and request the service as part of your normal filing process.  How is this accomplished you might wonder?

• 1) Download our software.
• 2) Enter or Import your recipient information.
• 3) Validate your Recipient Data for Basic Formatting Issues.
• 4) Navigate to the TIN Matching Service Tab
• 5) Click on the "Calculate Amount Due" button to get a real-time price quote for our TIN Matching service. Prices scale based on quantity up to a maximum of $175 per submission. See our Price Quote page for more information.
• 6) Navigate to the Payments screen and make a payment for the amount you were quoted.
• 7) Navigate back to the TIN Matching Services tab, and click on the ‘Transmit for Processing' button.

You will receive an automated confirmation by e-mail indicating we have received your transmittal. E-File Magic will now get to work, and transmit your information to the IRS TIN Matching System. Once we have received the Matching response information from the IRS, we will post it back to your account and we will e-mail you indicating the file results are available. Once you receive this e-mail, simply perform the following:

• 1) Click on ‘Import Available Results'
• 2) You can optionally click on the ‘Export Results to CSV' button to save a copy of the results to a CSV file you can open in Microsoft Excel, then click on the ‘Process Result' button.
• 3) Any errors that require correction will now be displayed in the ‘BTIN Mis-Match Errors' box. Simply double click on any result to load it in the Manage Recipients screen, and make your modifications accordingly.
